This website, like CASA itself, is under construction. As time goes on, we hope to provide essential information and services to all composers in South Africa.
Although there are organisations in SA which represent various rights of composers, there is no central body to address general issues and concerns, or to provide help and advice to those not finding satisfaction elsewhere.
There is enormous value in having a forum to express views, exchange ideas and discuss problems. We composers are often regarded as being disinterested in our rights, to our detriment. This is a special opportunity to change this. With the growing support of composers, we will be a respected and recognised body, able to negotiate with all of the industry players.
Our aim is to have branches in all the major centres in South Africa. If you would like to represent your city or town, please contact us.
